She also illustrated children's books and periodicals, including several works by author Caroline Hofman. This book includes some of Elmer's last works, as she passed away in 1919. This is a delightful children's book and a lovely piece of art history. It would make a unique gift to an art lover or a wonderful addition to any collection! Has been reprinted in 2009.
