Description: X- Rays and Crystal Structure by William and Lawrence Bragg, published by G. Bell and Sons in 1915, London, First Edition. Overall good condition. This is an ex-library copy from Columbia University, Library of Engineering, officially discarded Dec. 14, 1932. It still has its card pocket inside the rear cover and other discard stampings (see photos). The spine probably has the most wear, top & bottom as well as along its edges. The corners show wear through their linen covers, but not excessive. Additionally, the title page is perforated with “Columbia University Library.” The interior & text are in Very Good condition, complete (228 pp), indexed and illustrated, NO rips, writing, highlighting or damage.A significant work in the field of crystallography and X-ray diffraction. The Bragg father-son duo made groundbreaking contributions to the understanding of crystal structures using X-ray analysis, and their work laid the foundation for the field of X-ray crystallography. The book discusses their research and findings, including the famous Bragg's Law, which relates the angles of X-ray diffraction to the spacing of lattice planes. My book is pictured and will be the book buyer receives. Ships promptly from NJ-USA.
