Description: Viking HotelFargo, North Dakota This auction is for a nice undivided postcard showing the Viking Hotel in Fargo, North Dakota. The Hotel was originally built in 1905. In 1910 Charles H. Porritt (a Fargo contractor) built a new Viking hotel and restaurant across the street. It was a popular rallying point for those with Scandinavian heritage. In 1940 the hotel was sold remodeled and reopened as the Bison Hotel. This card was posted in 1915. Condition: This card is in good condition, has bright colors, and a sharp image. There are two creases starting at the top on the left of the card. There is a small surface tear creating a white spot right above the building image. Stamp missing.
