Description: Up for sale are four sepia-toned postcards from San Francisco, California around 1915. They include one postcard showing the Cliff House (next to the Seal Rocks Gallery); Seal Rocks, with numerous seals in view; the Union Ferry Depot (showing the side-wheel passenger ferry, Piedmont); and another view of the Ferry Building. Note the old autos alongside of horse-drawn vehicles. These postcards were part of a souvenir folder entitled "Album of Twenty-five Views, San Francisco, California", and was produced by Souvenir Publishing Company, San Francisco and Los Angeles. I date this album from 1915, since the "new" City Hall (one of the postcards) was built between 1913 and 1915. I found these is a paper lot that I bought at a local flea market. The postcards had already been removed from the album. Please check out my other listings for the rest of this album. All of the postcards are in very good to excellent condition (except where noted), and unposted, as you can see in the last scan. Since they were at one time in an album, all of them show perforations on the left side. In this lot, two postcards have a barely noticeable crimp at the perforation, and a few have a tiny corner scuff or two, but no tears, all complete, and ready to frame or add to your postcard collection album. Please email with questions before buying these postcards and check out our eBay store, Paper Emporium, for hundreds of vintage photos, cigar labels, maps and charts, and other collectibles.
