Description: I have for sale a souvenir mirror from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition that was held in San Franciso, California. The exposition was held to celebrate the opening of the Panama Canal, to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the Pacific Ocean and to celebrate the rebuilding of San Francisco followingthe1906 earthquake and fire. The mirror is two inches in diameter and in a high grade circulated condition. The colors are very bright. The mirror was made by the Whitehead & Hoag company. At the top of the mirror it reads INDEPENDENT ORDER OF FORESTERS - SOUVENIR, PANAMA-PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION 1915 and at the bottom rim it reads TOWER OF JEWELS with the tower in the center along with flowers and two symbols.
