Description: Welsh artist Margaret Lindsay Williams (1888-1960) Signed (initialed) and Dated, on lower right, this Lovely Country Landscape. Williams was a well known portraitist (for the British Royals) but also produced several landscapes. We believe this to be an authentic M.L. Williams piece - style and date is right - but we have not been able to confirm the signature/initials. It is an Original Antique Oil on a textured artist's panel. A figure bends down near a small pond that is reflecting the trees above. A dirt road passes through, at left, into the horizon.
