Description: This Tobacco card (also referred to as a Cigarette Card) was issued by the American Tobacco Company as an insert premium in their brands of Emblem Cigarettes,. This card is one from a fairly scarce series cards entitled , “Emblem Series ” and is designated as T56 Burdick’s American Card Catalogue. The front of each card features an illustration of a National Medal or Emblem. The back features advertising for Emblem cigarettes and a description of the featured Emblem as well as listing the factory No 649 1st District State of New York. This card is #25 in the series and features the LEGION OF HONOUR France The Card measures 1 7/8 inches by 2 5/8 inches approximately. The card does have some corner and edge wear, but is free from major crease. I have scanned the card fairly large for you to be able to judge condition for yourself. Don’t miss out on this 107 year old card. As it is over 100 years old it is an official American Antique.
