R. Jourdain rebound in cloth. A collection of articles from IBIS, reprinted from the volumes from 1911 and 1912, and bound together in modern cloth. Francis C. R. Jourdain was a notable ornithologist and oologist, who specialised in birds of the Palaearctic region. The complete four parts of this very scarce work, with only one copy held at the library of the Scottish Ornithologists' Club.Part two is illustrated with two text figures. Collated, complete. CONDITION Rebound in modern cloth. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and light bumping to the extremities. There is a faint mark to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot and age toning to the endpapers.
