Description: This is a beautiful, embossed chromolithograph from 1910 entitled "The Duet." It is of two Victorian era girls singing and playing piano, surrounded by a blue flower vignette of maybe wisteria or lilacs. The chromolithograph itself is 20x15" and the frame is 22.5x17.5". It is in very good shape (please see the photos enlarged) with small tears around the sides but nothing too obtrusive. The frame is also a little scuffed, but still presentable; the glass with minor scratches, nothing serious. See my photos enlarged. She may be 112 years old but she looks great. The colors are still very vibrant. The vignette is embossed, mainly the flowers and leaves, which gives it a nice 3D effect. Must be seen. It seems to have been in this frame for a long time, I believe the framing may have been done in the 1930s, so it has been protected for most of its life. I leave it in this frame so that you can determine whether you want to reframe it (20x15 is fairly common) or keep its integrity. It took some sleuthing, but I only found this particular print online once, and it has long since been sold. This obviously is a pretty rare print, but oh so good. On bottom of the lithograph: Copyright 1910 Gray Litho. Co. NY and Chicago / The Duet / Currier Pub. Co. Chicago.
