The gilt-printed spine identifies the book and near the bottom of the spine is the name of its owner -- the Honorable David G. Chandler, who represented the Grand Traverse County in the U.S. House of Representative from 1909 - 1910 and from 1911 - 1912. Chandler was born in Flushing, MI, in 1847. This volume is one of 2,000 that was produced that year. This book has 717 numbered pages and its cover measures approx. 5 7/8 in. by 4 5/8 in. this volume looks quite good on the outside, with corner and edge wear to the covers and spine. The front cover is completely shaken from the rest of the book but it is still attached and could easily be mended with book p. There is some discoloration to the front and back end page, primarily There is a significant tear to the blank page opposite the title page and there is a an almost one inch vertical tear to the rear free end page. The gilt printing on the spine is n good condition. There is some discoloration to the inner pages but not more than might be expected. Please look a our many pictures.
