Description: @ 8 1/2" wide by 11" tall letter from a Madison Ohio produce company back in 1909. Letterhead features an image of the founder titled: "Wick Hathaway Propagator of Small Fruit Plants. Onion and Pansy Seed. The Strawberry a Specialty" and was mailed to George Ertel Co. in Quincy Illinois, established in 1867 & located on the north side of Kentucky Street between 5th & 6th in Quincy Illinois, it manufactured baling presses, incubators and brooders. The handwritten letter is page 2 of a 1909 letter with routine content about farm machinery with a hand drawn image of the equipment inset (See photos below for clarification) the back is blank. Has only light wear and would display nicely. How many of these throwaway items survived?
