This token is listed in both Nevada catalogs under Reno. (yes, there are some common reno tokens...this token is not common...seldom seen) This is a TOUGHER MERCHANT variety of the old Reno tokens to find, the older book shows about R-8 out of 10 for most western states. These old Reno tokens are very collectible today, and this is a very nice specimen....came out of a collection of old Reno tokens bought back in 1990s, watch for future listings. Trade token is brass metal, round, about 21mm in size, and it displays nicely. (please see pictures in gallery) natural toned patina intact, token has not been cleaned Gallery pictures should show you all you need to know. While often old Nevada tokens found in "dug" condition, this is a beautiful "cigar box" specimen.
