Introduced in 1903, Oilettes were promoted by the company as “veritable miniature oil paintings.” Raphael Tuck & Sons were one of the earliest postcard publishers. They started Christmas cards about 1870 and their trademark of an artist's easel, etc., was registered in 1881. Postcard will be shipped out in a protective plastic sleeve and cardboard mailer. Condition: Postcard shows a little wear but in good condition for it's age. Please see all photographs for any minor imperfections and accurate representation for they are part of my description.
