Surgeon Captain H.W.Finlayson DSO 1906/7 era on HMS Sutlej, at Gibraltar, Bermuda and Chatham. 1915 single letter where he recounts how a matlow was just about to apply some French grey paint to his"garden" on board before he rescued it.
