Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume! The gilt title lettering on the spine displays nicely from the shelf. Internally, this volume is in good shape overall. There is some cracking to the rear hinge, however both boards and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding. Former owner’s signature visible on the front pastedown endpaper. Otherwise there are no bookplates, inscriptions, or library markings to note. The text block of this volume is perfectly readable throughout. Pages show just typical age-related toning, the odd spot light foxing and soiling, and some general light edge wear including corner creasing and edge tearing. Otherwise this volume is very clean and perfectly readable throughout. Illustrated throughout.
