C & L was a formidable Automotive Parts Warehouse Chain in the West from 1904 thru the mid-1980s when acquired by Cardis Corp which led to its demise. This is the 1954 50 Year "Anniversary" 40-page insert that probably came out of a period automotive aftermarket journal. This contains numerous ads for automotive products and history of the C & L chain. Interestingly, the foreward was written by Floyd Clymer.This is a true automotive aftermarket historical piece.
