Description: This is for one lot of 2 complete Bolt Assemblies for the 1903 or 1903A3 US Rifle. Both of the bodies have a square ended lug. One of the safety assemblies is unmarked on the right side indicating a Smith Corona manufacture. The other safety assembly, which has an older blued finish, is marked with the letter R on the right side indicating a Remington manufacture. Both safety levers ( Safe/Ready) have a small R on the back side. Both bolt arms have a small punch mark on the bottom of the handle at the body. Both extractor bars have a capital letter S on the side and one has almost no finish ( possibly polished in the past) and there is a dime sized discoloration at the rear of the extractor. Except as noted, the parts have an older overall grey finish that may or may not be original. Unable to determine that but they have been owned by me for over 25 years and have not been refinished in that time. 5/22/24 Updated description. Told today that all square lugs are not necessarily Smith Corona as I thought. Could not find any reference in Brophy on that. These have only a single punch mark at the base of the handle and no letter codes. Serviceable parts that will fit your rifle. Listed as used due the age and not the condition. Shipped free to US addresses only.
