Illustrations: Frontispiece (with guard-sheet), decorative title-page and a few other illustrations by artist and illustrator, John Byam Liston Shaw (1872-1919). Description: One of only two hundred copies from 'The Chiswick Shakespeare', printed on Japanese Vellum, with limitation statement to verso of half-title, although this copy is unnumbered. Bound in cream cloth over thin card boards, with elaborate gilt decoration and lettering to upper board. Vellum spine with further gilt decoration and lettering. Externally sound, lightly marked and discoloured with just a little wear to extremities. Text-block remain sound, pages lightly age-toned with one or two minor blemishes, else clean and tidy.
