Description: 1900's EUROPEAN PORCELAIN GREEN EWER with FLORAL BOUQUET , 15 1/2" This Click images to enlarge Description This is a tall European porcelain ewer that stands about 15 1/2" tall to the spout area. This features a green shaded background with darker green spout, handle and footed base. These darker areas are also accented with gold. The shaded area goes from light greens to almost a brownish light rosy pink color in some areas. The main area of the ewer features a large floral bouquet of assorted flowers with touches of hand painted accents. Backside features just 2 small flowers . The footed base has a deep inset mark on the underside that looks to be number 17. My guess this is Austrian or in that general region of Europe from about the early 1900's era. This lovely piece has no chips, cracks or repairs. I have owned this piece for over 40 years and at that time was acquired from an auction. This will require shipping in an oversized box that does have a bit more postage but what is quoted is what it actually costs and not some inflated price. Buyer pays shipping with insurance included!
