A very decorative suit, the bookshelf is width adjustable so you can slide it open or closed as you add or remove books. The books are all by Sir Walter Scott and in French. This is a very good-looking piece, for pure Library decoration or academia it would look amazing in any setting. We have cleaned waxed and polished the timber from top to bottom, the books have age replated spots inside, they are circa 120 years old.
