Pastedowns browned. Text quite nice, few tiny scattered spots of stain. The Khaleefa's army of 50,000 dervishes took over the Sudan in the late 1850s. Charles Neufeld was imprisoned for 12 years in Omdurman after the fall of Khartoum.
