It contains all the face different TRANSPORTATION coils from 1898Ab to 1906a. This is the FIRST series, which was issued between 1981 and 1991. All of the gummed coils are untagged and perf. 10 vert. The reference table above has both Precancel Stamp Society numbers and Durland style types. The precancel type of 1906a is determined by measuring (in millimeters) the approximate length of the word "PRESORTED". Three different overprints are known and we will ship the most common type. Specialists may consider our specialized sets, which have all minor number varieties. Some of these beautiful coils will have very fine centering. There is a 30% premium for VF but we offer better quality at our regular low price!
