CHECK IS SIGNED BY ZAC SMITH, TRUSTEE and resident of Bonham. He was the owner of a hardware store in Caddo, Indian Territory and another hardware store in Bonham, Texas. The Bonham location opened in 1901 and closed in 2011. It was open for 110 years. At the time, it was Texas' oldest hardware store. CHECK is PUNCH CANCELLED which is HARDLY VISIBLE. Funny how, in those days, they would use a pencil to fill out a check. PRINTED BY CLARKE & COURTS, MFG. STATIONERS, GALVESTON, TEXAS.
