1897-O Morgan Silver Dollar - Rare Choice AU+ details from the New Orleans mint

Description: Up for your consideration is a very nice 1897-O Morgan Silver dollar. A Beautiful Choice AU+ details from the New Orleans mint with a very nice luster and a slight golden toning. The obverse shows all of her finest hairlines, strong borders on the leaves and cotton, and most if not all of the cotton seeds. The reverse shows bold eagle wing feathers, bold neck feathers, and the full chest feathers are clearly visible, very scarce with this issue, known for its very weak strikes. There is also strong separation on the leaves in the wreath. The rims are in excellent shape, with just a single hit near her chin, and every inner rim denticle is bold, with absolutely no rim smoothing. The surfaces have had a cleaning at some point during her long life, but the fields are extremely clean. A strong strike of this New Orleans Morgan, scarce in higher grades, as the Price Guides clearly show. This could be that really nice upgrade you were looking for.
