The designer/photographer was Mrs. N. Gray Bartlett, known only for this 1892 production and one other similar book published the following year. This hardcover first (and only) printing remains in quite good shape. The covers show fairly minor soiling and wear, mostly at the corners; the binding is still sound; vintage gift inscription on the first page; the text has only minor signs of age or use, no serious flaw. Very rare in any condition, and never found at this low price. Measures 11.5" X 9.5". The text and photos are printed on tissue, backed by heavier paper; there are just ten leaves, one tissue per leaf. Ships promptly & securely.
