Description: You are bidding on a rare antique hardcover book titled The Etiquette of Freemasonry - A Handbook For The Brethren - Treating of the Right Things to do Upon All Occasions, Official and Social. Embracing the Minor Jurisprudence of the Craft. By An Old Past Master. Published in London by A. Lewis, 1890. This is the scarce and collectible First Edition. I conducted a search and could not find another First Edition of this title! It is intended that this book will discuss and explain the means and appliances, the technicalities and ceremonial observances, as distinct from the verbal portions of the Ceremonies, which are indispensably necessary for the decorous and harmonious working of the business of the Lodge. Much that is found in this work is not found in the Book of Constitutions or in any Ritual extant. Book is bound in blue cloth binding with gold lettering on the cover and spine.Cover has blind-stamped design and ruling. The covers are firmly attached with no cracking or splitting of hinges. The corners show some wear. All pages are clean and tightly bound. No writing in book and no signs of previous ownership. The book shows some wear and remains in good-plus condition. This is a very scarce book and would make a wonderful addition to a collection! Great gift idea! (Inventory: 364) Track Page Views With Auctiva's FREE Counter
