Description: I have here for sale a RARE edition of JAPANESE FAIRY TALE SERIES NO. 9 - THE SERPENT WITH EIGHT HEADS. Translated into English by B.H.CHAMBERLAIN crepe paper book is illustrated throughout with traditional Japanese illustrations. Published by HASEGAWA, Tokyo, it is undated but published around 1888 (ref. Library Hub) . A slightly longer tale illustrated and told on 28 pages (14 printed on both sides). Soft crepe paper covers and pages, a little age soiling to the covers. Small loss to the cover of the spine both top and bottom. Small creases on both corners of covers. Please see photos . Clean inside. It is in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 16cm cx 11cm. Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :) My main posting days are Monday and Thursday ie.
