Externally, smart with some shelf wear to the edges and spine. A few marks to the boards. Hinges are slightly strained but firm. Spotting to the front free endpapers. Contemporary ink inscription to the rear of the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Binding is slightly worn, particularly between page 8 and plate two. Light age-toning to the edges. Spotting towards the front and rear of the book. Previous owner's ink signature and bookplate to the front blank.
