Description: This is aa Antique John Maddock and Sons Royal Vitreous Pitcher, Creamer and Sugar Bowl Set with a floral pattern. The maker mark on the bottom of the bowls was used between 1880 - 1896. The Set is in Good Condition with the following listed flaws. **NOTE*** There is wear in places from age and normal use, such as wear to the gold edge paint, and some minor manufacture flaws which were common during the time of manufacture. Specific flaws - The Pitcher has a manufacture flaw on the bottom edge that looks like a chip but appears to be a flaw shown in the 6th picture. The Creamer - has a hairline crack near the handle on the brim shown in the 7th & 8th pictures. There are also some flaws along the base. The Sugar Bowl - has a chip on the inner brim edge and a crazing crack in the finish on the bottom near the maker's mark shown in the last two pictures. Despite the flaws the set displays very nicely. The Flaws are the reason for the low price on this nice set. The Pitcher is 8 1/2" tall and about 6" by 4 1/2". The pitcher weighs 2 LBS 5 OZ. The Creamer is 5 1/8" tall and about 5" by 3 1/4". The Creamer weighs 12 OZ. The Sugar Bowl is 6 1/2" tall and about 7" by 4 1/2". The Sugar Bowl weighs 1 LB 5 OZ.
