Description: Original 1879 copy of "Irving's Catechism of Botany: Comprising a General Description of the Organs of Plants, and a Familiar Introduction to the Natural System of Classification." The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. The covers have some mild wear. There is some partial cracking to the front interior hinge, but the binding is good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age with just some occasional light foxing & grubbiness. A few pages have some minor penciled notation. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of minor imperfection, such as a tiny chip or tear, creased page corner, etc. The book is a fairly small slim volume which measures approximately 6 inches by 4 inches and is 103 pages long with a black and white frontispiece and 8 additional pages of ads at the rear. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
