Description: 1876 Centennial celebration, 1776-1876, medalet / token, souvenir, from the celebration of the centennial of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. It is approx. 20 mm diameter, a little larger than a U.S. dime. The piece appears to be made from either white metal or zinc. It stills retains the silvery look and flash of either white metal or zinc that has not oxidized over all of it, over a good part of the surface The Independence Hall side is the brighter/more flashy of the two sides. The Liberty Bell side has grayed out in the fields beside the bell and some on the bell. It has a hole at the top center for suspending from a chain or ribbon. The Independence Hall side shows the building in the center with the name above it and 1776 below it. The Liberty Bell side shows the bell in the center with Liberty Bell at the top, and the double date,1776-1876, at the bottom.
