Description: 1876 Centennial Flag Bearer Tunic; 150 Years Old; Previous Museum Display; RARE🇺🇸. Listing tonight the above piece believe to be made for a child most likely a girl since the opening of the garment is on the side. Also has styling on front of jacket black bars across for a musical ensemble. Does show past moth holes and is in very salty ,fragile , relic-like condition . One of the sleeve flags is literally held on by a thread. Can be reinforced via sewing in spots for best display or simply left “as is”. Believed to have been from 1872-1878 period for 100 years birthday of America. Rank is Sargent so could be some of a cadet organization.
