Description: Very clean 15 inch JH Dallmeyer Patent No. 5 WA Single Wide Angle Landscape lens serial number 21929, with rotary aperture assembly. The lens is clear with no fungus or haze. The body of the lens is remarkably clean, the original lacquer is still in beautiful shape. The aperture assembly, which screws on to the front of the lens barrel, is also very clean and works correctly. Instead of taking water stops the assembly has a disc which rotates and has various size holes in it which are the apertures. Covers 12X15 inches We do not have the mounting flange for the lens. We show the lens listed in the Dallmeyer log books for 1873 as a No.5 WA Wide Angle Landscape. See the photos of the log and catalog listing. The lens is listed at the bottom of the page on the left. It was sold to the Puech Camera Company in France
