We have many more items that are not posted yet! This is a lot of 49 different issues of Essex County Mercury newspapers from 1871. These newspapers were published in Salem, Massachusetts. The dates included are: January 4, 11, 18 & 25; February 1, 8, 15 & 22; March 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29; April 5, 12, 19 & 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31; June 7, 14, 21 & 28; July 5, 12, 19 & 26; August 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30; September 6, 13, 20 & 27; October 4; November 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29; and December 5, 13, 20 & 27. This lot of newspapers are in overall poor to fair condition. There are nicks, creases, writing on the front pages, tears, staining/foxing. A few of the issues have minor paper loss. Some of the pages show foxing. Please look at the photos and ask any questions you might have. We have been on eBay for over 18 years!
