Description: Antique Vintage Pocket Watch Chain & Fob. In very nice original condition . Slight lifting of top metal clearly visible on pictures.The chain is straight and the latch works. The chain is unique as the links have a offset matching pattern thruout. Note in box says 1870 ? I have no idea if that is when it was made. Apparently it was made for a hunter or outdoor sportsmen. Animal teeth & claws in ornate flowered settings . The detail is amazing and was done by a master craftsman. It measures approximately 18" long extended. It appears to have a silver wash over the base metal as the pictures will show . I do not know the metal it is constructed with. It may be European / German as they have small deer with fangs ? This piece meant a lot to someone who may have it made as a memory of outdoor adventures. I have owned it for many years and just found it when downsizing.
