The castle is weathered from the passing of centuries and scarred from battles long since fought. It stands resilient against the passing of time as it once did against many a siege, a towering reminder of a medieval age of knights and chivalry and epic battles long since passed. The stretcher boards and antique frame show off the well over century of age nicely. The canvas has nicely aged as well. The painting has also naturally darkened with age but is still in excellent condition. It can be easily cleaned to showcase its original brightness or left as is for the aged atmospheric effect, if desired. A lovely antique landscape with a fantastic old castle by an unknown artist.
