Harding. 1868, 754 pp plus index, 12” x 9.75”. 4to, hardcover full leather. In fair condition, with rubbing, chipping and losses to leather on boards and spine. Cracking to hinges at front and rear, leading to boards being somewhat loose. Nicely embossed and decorated in gilt on exterior, with the original owner’s name engraved onto the front board. Nicely illustrated with a variety of black-and-white plates throughout. Includes pages for family records between Old and New Testaments. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A nicely decorated family Bible produced in Philadelphia.
