The hinges are cracked and holding. A section of attached pages from page 99 to 118 is detached from the binding. The binding is otherwise good. The frontispiece engraving is protected by the original tissue paper and the frontispiece has a small, 1 inch, tear at the bottom. There are no other tears, no dog ears, and no internal handwriting. An owner's name is written on the 1st free page. This book measures 7 1/2 by 5 1/4 inches and it has 231 numbered pages with additional books advertised in the back.
