Description: DESCRIPTION - (Please Read) 1863 Indian Head (CN) is Very Fine+++ and is Raw/Uncleaned. The photos show exactly how the coin appears in the shipping flip. Details: Heavy Reverse Cracking - This is the exact coin for the Poliquin Var-107 Discovery/Plate as shown in the included documentation. The 3:00 crack almost bisects the reverse, across the coin, through the shield. The die crack or failing die, resulted in very few coins struck with this die pairing. The rarity is URS-8 with only 65 to 125 examples being struck. Please check out David Poliquin's free web source for Indian Head information and die analysis (indiancentvarieties).
