Description: [WATERCOLOR, LANDSCAPE, BIRKET FOSTER] On offer here is an ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR after Birket Foster. The work is clearly signed 'Birket Foster 56' (1856) at lower right and bears all the stylistic details of Myles Birket Foster, however we have yet to find an another Foster signed as this example is. The estate from where this painting came had a dozen or more watercolors (some we have on offer) and all are authentic. However, in a sense of responsibility, we are only listing this 'after Birket Foster' vs a definitive attribution. The watercolor measures 8 in x 16.75 in and is rendered on artist paper mounted on later (1940's?) board.
