In good condition. A nicely bound set. Light wear to extremities with minor scuffing along edges and corners. Spines abraded with red rot present at joints and compartments. Boards abraded with light scratching and scuffing overall to surface. Gilt ruling lightly chipped but remains bright. Gilt at compartments dulled and mostly missing. Front joint at Volume V is cracking slightly. Spine labels somewhat chipped with modest scuffing. Marbled end papers bright and clean. All edges marbled. Bookseller’s ticket from Moyer’s Book Barn, Strasburg, PA adhered to second end pages. Light toning throughout with minor instances of foxing. Free of known ownership or marginalia.
