Description: Copy of a 1854 British made Bayonet Frog . Completely Hand Made , In other words , NO machines were employed in it's construction , and Iron Dyed . Made with Herman Oak Leather turned rough out .I am always impressed by the Quality of European Accoutrements. This little bayonet frog is a fine example of a well thought out and executed little device. I've included photos of the original I copied, as well as the cover and pages from the fine book "Suppliers to the Confederacy" by Craig L. Barry & David C. Burt, pertaining to this subject. My shop stamp is located, out of plain view on the inside of the belt loop.Bayonet and scabbard are not part of this sale.
