Light markigns and marginalia. Pamphlet remains bound well and easy to read despite staining. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce pamphlet for an oration given at the dedication for the construction of the United States Capitol’s addition. Daniel Webster (1782-1852) was one of the most influential politicians in the first half of the 19th Century. Representing New Hampshire and Massachusetts in Washington, he also served two stints as Secretary of State, with the latter from 1850 until his death. COLPAP-1359
