The Blade is Signed "Ames Mfg. Co. Cabotville 1851" on One side, and is Signed with the Inspector's Mark "U.S. A.D.K." on the Other Side. The Blade is in Good Original Condition, As Pictured! It Has a Brass Basket Crossguard with Wooden Handle. Most of the Original Wire Wrap is Missing, As Pictured. The Scabbard is The Original Heavy 2 Ring Steel Scabbard. The Sword measures approx. 43 1/4" long with the Scabbard. The Sword itself measures approx. 41 1/2" Long with a 35 3/4" Blade. This is in Overall Good Original Condition, with a Nice Aged Patina.
