Description: group of 45 ads for Rogers Bros. Silverware 1913 - 1959 This is a great collection of 45 vintage magazine advertisements for Americas Finest Silverplate, produced by the International Silver Co. of Meriden, Conn. They almost all promote the companys 1847 Rogers Bros. brand, with one ad for William Rogers & Son, and another for Rogers & Sterling. They are all full-page ads, measuring approximately 10.5 x 13.5 inches in size. Six of the ads show a small amount of dampstaining, but overall the group is in excellent, attractive condition. Nine of the ads are duplicates, so there are three dozen different designs represented in the collection. One of them features the actress Rosalind Russell on behalf of 1847 Rogers Bros. All the ads are over 60 years old. All of the different ads are shown in the accompanying photos, to give you a good idea of their appearance. The collections spans almost a half century of advertising for the Rogers Bros. brand, showing how International Silver pitched its products to America.
