1846/1848 Catholic Family Bible Douay Rheims George Leo Haydock 2 Vols Vulgate

For your consideration is a Bible, this being "The Holy Bible, Translated From The Latin Vulgate (aka Douay Rheims) ...with Useful Notes...by The Rev. Geo. Leo Haydock".Published by A. Fullarton and Co., Dublin, London, and Edinburgh. Volume 1 of the Old Testament/Hebrew Scriptures is dated 1846, Volume 2 of the Old Testament/Hebrew Scriptures is dated 1847, and the New Testament/Christian Greek Scriptures is dated 1848. For the Bible Collector: please reference Herbert 1590 and Chamberlin 19. This Bible is in about good condition or so, especially when considering it's age. The pics tell the story on this one. The covers show some separation along the spines at the joints as shown, but they're still attached. The hard covers are presumably leather. It has some wear and tear, shelf and edge wear. There are some tape segments attached at the font ends as shown to apparently help with stability. I didn't see much if any writing (I didn't check every single page but none noticed all of the times I've thumbed through these tomes), no loose pages, tears, water damage, etc. that I could see. I would ask you to see the pics to get a good idea of it's condition, and I would be happy to answer any and all questions, or provide more pictures if needed. I am not a book grader, so see the pics, and you be the judge! This would be an awesome authentic addition to your collection, or a great gift for that collector in your life, and would look great sitting in your library! They measure about 12-3/8" x 10-1/2" x 2-1/8" and 2-3/8" respectively, and they weigh in at about 13 lbs 9 oz combined. This will be wrapped carefully so it will arrive exactly how you see it here, post office willing.
