Description: March 23, 1845 letter from Rev. Daniel Bartlett of Camden, Maine to Rev. Amos B. Pendleton of Livermore, Maine. The Rev. writes on a printed report of a committee of the Second Baptist Church in Camden, that explains his circumstances: lost everything in fire, home, clothing, books and writings, and due to his health must rely upon charity. In his own hand the Reverend explains why he had no insurance, that perhaps the congregation of Rev. Pendleton's church will provide some relief, even if it's only a box of clothing from the women of the church. If this is an auction listing there is no "Buy it Now" price--please don't ask. We don't end auctions early. If this is a "Buy It Now" listing we do not participate in the "Make An Offer" program--no haggling. Prices are our best price. Just takes too much time with so many listings. We don't answer offers. See scans or photos for condition. Happy to answer questions. Glad to combine shipping on multiple items: Please email me BEFORE you pay for multiple items so I can reduce your shipping cost. The best method is to put multiple items in your cart and then click on the "Ask for an Invoice" button. Good feedback automatically given reciprocally--when you provide feedback we automatically provide it to you. And finally, we don't do "Partial Refunds". You must return the item so we can offer it to the underbidder.
