Description: This is the lock plate for a Model 1842 Harpers Ferry .69 caliber single shot musket. It is in good used condition, works great and is fairly clean inside with some parts still case colored. The outside has some light surface pitting and the finish is mottled but looks good overall with nice markings. The lock plate on this old musket is dated 1843 and I read that these parts will interchange with the Springfield.
