Description: 1832 Holy Bible printed in Boston using Hale's Steampress Nathan Hale was the first printing in Boston using a Steam Press. This was quite and advancement for the time period for the history of printing. This Bible is an excellent piece of printing history! Original leather binding is overall solid and attractive, but the spine has a crease in the leather straight up the middle. Spotting and staining to some pages, but the majority just has light foxing around the edges. This copy has the Apocrypha as well. Measures about 9.25" x 5.5" and about 2.75" thick. Please review pictures for a better idea of the condition. I carefully package all of my books to ensure that they remain safe during shipping. Check out my other book and Bible listings!
