Fox lived in times of social upheaval and war. He became disillusioned with the Church of England and set out on a journey to uncover spiritual truths for himself. His unusual methods led to the birth of Quakerism. This almost 200 year old book is in fair condition for its age: • Cover: leather? with marks & wear at edges and corners. Small sections peeled off • Spine: marks & wear at ends. Small sections peeled off along sides • Pages: age marks/brown spots throughout, water marks, folded corners and small tears.
